SHIFT Tutorial Series Event 6: Knowledge Management and an Introduction to Self Service Tools to help automate Processes and Contracts
Event description
The mechanics of an in-house legal team: Legal Ops and Legal Tech de-mystified
SHIFT presents our Legal Ops and Legal Tech Series 2022: where we will de-mystify these well-used terms, and showcase to New Zealand in-house teams a range of different processes and tools that can be used by legal teams, and including of course structuring an in-house team – the core component!
Event 6: Knowledge Management Case Study and an Introduction to Self Service Tools to help automate Processes and Contracts (Wednesday 3 August 12.30pm - 1.30pm) - 1 CPD hour
Hear from Allen Li (Co-founder, LawHawk) and Kathryn Low (Associate General Counsel – Legal Operations, Kāinga Ora) discussing how SharePoint can be used to make knowledge management (contracts, external law firms, key pieces of legal advice etc) more accessible to the legal team and (where appropriate) non legal staff. They will discuss key considerations to decide what knowledge should be included, and how to make that knowledge easy to consume (and therefore used). Evan Wong (CEO and Co-founder of Checkbox AI) will present how Checkbox AI works with inhouse legal teams to create self service tools and self service advice, with no code.
Allen Li is the Co-founder of LawHawk, he helps legal teams to improve the way they work and the way their legal services are consumed, by identifying, designing, implementing, and supporting process improvements.
Kathryn Low is the Associate General Counsel – Legal Operations, who supports the Kāinga Ora legal team to develop its processes, systems, technology and interaction with its external suppliers so that the team can work effectively and serve its clients in an efficient and timely manner.
Evan Wong is the CEO & Co-Founder of Checkbox, a leading no code workflow automation platform, and is a listed Forbes 30 Under 30. Evan has worked with many legal teams globally on leveraging no code to shift the time lawyers spend on low value tasks to high impact work.
