This Everest day The Himalayan Trust invites you to join Himalayan Trust ambassador Phurenje Sherpa, board member Lindsay Strang and guest speaker Kaji Sherpa for a gala dinner at Christchurch's own Arjee Bhajee restaurant.

It will be an evening of stories, food and dancing to celebrate 68 years since Sir Ed and Tenzing summited Mt Everest and all the work in Solukhumbu that has been done since then. 🙏🏽
Traditional Sherpa and Nepali dress is welcomed!
Join us from 6:00pm on Saturday the 29th of May for Drinks and to catch up our meet Christchurch's dedicated Himalayan Trust supporters. Your Ticket will provide you with 3 drinks for the evening!
From 6:30pm Arjee Bhajee will serve a special dinner of authentic Nepalese and Sherpa cuisine.
At 7:30pm Lindsay Strang will announce some exciting new Himalayan Trust projects and fundraisers for the year. Following this Ang Kaji Sherpa will speak about his experiences in the Khumbu from being a young child in school to being an experienced Mountain Guide on Mt Everest.
There will also be a raffle of two exciting signed books on the evening.
