Event description

This June, Everybody Eats brings its unique dining experience to Wellington’s south coast for the very first time—partnering with The Botanist in Lyall Bay for an unforgettable evening that nourishes both body and soul.

Join us on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6–9pm as The Botanist transforms into an Everybody Eats pop-up for one night. Set in their stunning seaside venue, this special event features a thoughtfully curated, three-course vegan feast made from donated ingredients—showcasing The Botanist’s signature plant-based creativity, seasonal produce, and botanical flair.

What to Expect:

  • A delicious three-course vegan meal crafted from donated ingredients lovingly prepared by The Botanist chefs

  • The option to purchase local wine or craft beer to enjoy with your meal

  • A seat at the table—dine privately with friends or whānau, or opt for communal seating and connect with new faces

This isn’t just dinner—it’s community, connection, and doing good with every bite.

Dine for Good: A Fundraising Event with Purpose

This is a Dine for Good event—part of a movement using food as a force for good. We invite our diners to join our pay-it-forward model, with a recommended minimum koha of $40 per person, collected on the night.

Your $40 contribution directly funds an Everybody Eats family dining voucher, distributed through our community partner Wellington Citizens Advice Bureau Budgeting Services. Each voucher gives a whānau doing it tough the gift of sharing a beautifully prepared meal, quality time together, and the simple joy of a worry-free night out—something that’s increasingly out of reach in today’s economy.
