    Event description

CREATIVE WELLBEING WORKSHOP | HEY MATE

The Creative Wellbeing Workshop by Hey Mate is an inclusive, warm, informative, safe and relaxed workshop targeted at people who live a creative life, whether professionally, recreationally or through the many, many lenses of art, culture, music, sport and expression.

Delivered by Hey Mate Founder, qualified Counsellor and former sound engineer Aimee….. this 90-minute comprehensive session covers practical strategies and knowledge building around resilience and how to boost it, how to monitor your mental wellbeing, how to talk with your peers and friends around mental health, burn out, stress, coping tools and how and where to seek support.

You'll leave with a deeper understanding of how to manage your wellbeing, support others, and thrive throughout your life.

Queensland Mental Health Week is an annual event that encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not, and encourages help seeking behaviours, when needed.

A perfect time to take some time for you. Come along or with some friends, snacks provided.
