Event Three: A Day in the Life of a Chinese International Student

Video Screening and Panel

We can't wait to see you join our Everyday Heroes China live stream series event Three: screening a video about a Chinese international student’s typical day in Melbourne, followed by an interactive panel sharing with current and former Chinese international students.

The video will feature Qianqian Jiang interviewed by Feifei Liao, sharing her life as an international student, studying at Torrens University and working as a barista in a cafe.

Qianqian loves exploring food. Food becomes her emotional palette. Food tasting also comprises many other international students’ overseas experience.

In the last couple of years, Qianqian has cultivated authentic friendships, a respectful working environment and a forever-growing best version of herself.

Qianqian will also share some challenges she experienced in life and at work and the support she received that enabled her to continue to enjoy her life in Melbourne.

Our panel will bring you a fun and interactive experience, evoking your five senses in an artistic and creative way. While our panellists share their stories, we will reveal some lucky dips of objects and props that reflect their stories and allow you to feel connected with their experiences.
