jules tognini
director of ‘good times’, australia
cut
resident half man, half horse, jules tognini is a household name in the cutting world and the evo world alike. named men’s hairdresser of the year 3 times in a row, he drinks salty dog for breakfast and hits a flat white to start his day. always a fuzzy fun time, jules will teach you how to understand every client is different and how you can bring out their best features through a hair cut. he’ll show you how to chop ze hair in simple sections and explain the best way to tackle a bowl of pasta and a bowl of ice cream combined. he’s been awarded australian educator of the year 4 times, so rest assured, you’re in good hands (or hooves...).
ky wilson
creative team, europe
cut, colour + style
londoner ky wilson believes sleep is overrated and starts his day with a decaf coconut latte, much to the dismay of baristas globally. the education all-rounder guarantees you will exit his courses knowing way more than when you entered and will throw in plenty of real-life scenarios to get you there. as creativehead’s most wanted and hairdresser’s journal barber of the year, ky lives and breathes his craft. he thrives on pushing boundaries without the aid of caffeine or sleep and gets his fix from seeing stylists apply his techniques to their own work in their own way.
jodie palmer
regional team, europe
colour + style
fresh from a barcelona beach, resident salty dog, jodie palmer, knows a thing or two about hair. inspired by everything from cinema to subculture, drag, punk, club kids, street kids, chavs… literally everything, this animal-loving cancer thinks creativity should move and break boundaries. she wants you to leave her course confident in yourself, and to have loads of fun along the way. this controversial pineapple-on-pizza-lover has worked on some pretty big shoots, but when asked, jodie’s highest accolade is gaining respect from those she respects. so you can expect a whole lot of respect, with a side of evo.
