Lounge Room Sessions is a monthly intimate concert in the Evoke Sounds studios lounge room.

30 guests are treated to 3 curated acoustic performances from emerging talent that's recorded on-location to be used by the artists for potential future releases and digital streaming.

Gabriella Cohen

Known for her magnetic performances, off-hand charm and pop sensibilities, Gabriella plays music which is all-at-once laid back, tongue in cheek, and peppered with the sweet sounds of 60's girl groups.

Channelling the sounds of the Beach Boys, Carol King and The Beatles, Gabriella is a unique and eclectic songwriter with infectious melodies to boot.

Gabriella has captivated audiences worldwide, sharing stages with luminaries like Paul Kelly, Big Thief and Marlon Williams.

With three internationally acclaimed records under her belt and a string of world tours, Rolling Stone has predicted 'she'll be a household name in no time'.

Neeko

Neeko is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who takes you on a soul searching journey as she explores what it is to live the human experience through her raw vocals, captivating lyrics and lush harmonies. She invites creativity in with an open heart and does not conform to any genres, yet there is a common thread that weaves together all that she generates. More than anything, this music presents you with an opportunity to FEEL.

Shira

Born in New York, raised in Bondi and now a Melbourne based artist, Shira is recognised for her soulful tone, superb vocal fluidity and transmuting her personal experiences into infectious, artful songs.

With a name meaning ’the song of God’, Shira was brought up on soul, r&b and hip hop, inspired by the sounds of Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott & recently influenced by the likes of Snoh Alegra & PJ Morton.

Having performed alongside various artists so far, including Matt Corby and Fatai, Shira captivates her audience with her warm, buttery vocals that show off her emotive depth.
