Price FREE Get Tickets

Event description

This workshop is for EVolocity students or those interested in our program for Years 7 - 13.

Explore electronics & programming and learn how to build a dashboard for your EV.

Our Arduino programming experts will take you through a step-by-step tutorial on building and programming your Arduino-based system monitor for your own electric vehicle. Our Tech Team have been hard at work developing new Arduino workshop content and hardware, which is intended to be much more concise, and more useful to teams who are wanting to get a foot in the door with programming and data-related electronics. For Open Class teams, you must monitor the temperature of lithium batteries as per the rules, and everyone will leave the Arduino workshop with a working temperature monitoring system. This workshop is essential for those using lithium batteries.

WHAT WE WILL COVER

Understand what an Arduino is and how it works

• Learn how to use an Arduino safely, and how to program your Arduino using code you've written
