Excursion to SERCUL (South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare) in Beckenham

9:15 arrival and check in
9:30-12:00 2 sessions (break in between)
For: Years 3-6 students
Please note that there is limited space at the SERCUL venue: siblings who are not participants in this year group range, are NOT able to be accommodated.

Macroinvertebrates
Students have the opportunity to observe the little creatures which live in our waterways up close and personal.
Using information and knowledge gained, students help to identify the health of the waterway.
Life Cycle of Mistletoe
Students get to learn about the fascinating web of life involving this native plant species and the interactions between it and other plant and animal species that are required to enable their existence.
