Excursion to SERCUL (South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare) in Beckenham

9:15-12 noon
9:15 arrival and check in
9:30-12:00 2 sessions (break in between)
For: Years 3-6 students
Please note that there is limited space at the SERCUL venue: siblings who are not participants in this year group range, are NOT able to be accommodated.

Content:
Building a frog habitat
Learn about the frogs of the Perth Region,
Learn about their life cycle and habitat requirements
Learn how to establish an area in the garden to attract frogs.
Life Cycle of Dragonflies
Learn about the fascinating life cycle of the dragonfly, the attributes that make it a successful predator and the threats to their existence.
Students may also get the chance to see a dragonfly nymph up close.
