The City of Melville invites you to the official opening night and awards presentation of the annual Melville Art Awards.
2026 marks the 50th Melville Art Awards, making this year's event a truly special occasion. Join us as we celebrate five decades of supporting, showcasing and championing artists from across Western Australia.

Getting There & Parking
The City of Melville Main Hall can be difficult to locate. The venue is best accessed via Davy Street, with parking available in front of the Civic Square Library.
The entrance is accessible via the pathway between the Main Hall and Library buildings, leading into the Civic Centre courtyard. Signage will be in place to help guide guests from the car park to the venue entrance.

The Melville Art Awards is a spectacular showcase of creativity from across Western Australia, proudly placing art and community centre stage.
Join us for an evening celebrating the exceptional talent of this year's finalists. Enjoy the official awards presentation, explore the exhibition, connect with artists and fellow art lovers, and be among the first to experience the diverse range of contemporary artworks on display.
Many artworks will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition, offering a wonderful opportunity to support local artists. Artists receive 100% of all artwork sales, with no commission charged.
Refreshments will be provided.
