EXHIBITIONS OPENING - Donna Gordge: HOLLOW + Lottie Emma: 'Super Mum' Strikes Back
Event description
Murray Bridge Regional Gallery
warmly invites you to join us in celebrating two exhibitions
DONNA GORDGE: HOLLOW
Guest speaker: Tracy Crisp, writer
Exploring the complex relationship between loss, longing and the continual evolution of our identities.
Both time and memory are porous – things slip through the cracks between then and now. You think you've got a grasp on them, but soon they disappear. People, relationships, objects, ideas... they each leave a space behind which we eventually grow around; some gaping, some almost unnoticeable. My recent work has been a meditation on the way we change a little with every one of these losses.

LOTTIE EMMA: 'SUPER MUM' STRIKES BACK
Guest speaker: tbc
Lottie Emma’s radically experimental art practice centres around wrangling emotions, championing compassion, speaking out and keeping it real.
Her conceptual soft sculptures use discarded textiles, free machine embroidery, hand stitching, aerosols, acrylics and crafting materials with electrifying immediacy. These highly intuitive works unpick narratives about processing intense emotions. Emma’s practice is fuelled by fun, curiosity and an empowering acceptance of the glorious diversity in how our brains are wired. Audacious, courageous, vibrant and raw, her works speak of fragility, tenacity and resilience.
Exhibitions dates: 29 Nov 2025 - 25 Jan 2026
Opening Celebration: 30 Nov 2025, 2-4pm
