Experimental Bubble tea

supported by Beaker Street Festival Team

We are going to set up the Youth ARC kitchen as a science lab and attempt to create all the elements of a bubble tea from scratch.

Did you know that you can turn any liquid or pureed food into small spheres? they have a gelatinous outside and liquid centre and are a tasty addition to any dessert.
You will be using a range of food grade chemicals to create popping boba balls and add them to a flavoursome drink using a molecular astronomy technique called direct spherification.

All materials provided.

Our workshops at YouthARC have limited spots and can be quite popular. To minimise the number of people missing out, please be mindful of others and only book the number of tickets you need. If you have booked a ticket and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking or contact us, so we can offer your spot to someone else on the waitlist. 

A member of the YouthARC team may give you a call to confirm your attendance a few days prior to the workshop.
