LIVE Expert Interview #6: It's Not All Sunshine & Rainbows: Coping in a world affected by Covid-19 (With Aga Kolaczkowski - Counsellor)
Event description
Let’s get real for a moment.
✋ Hands up if you’ve had a rough 12 months?
This event is to acknowledge all of us for surviving what can only be described as an absolute $hit-$torm of a year in 2020 and the consequent aftermath....
Perhaps you’ve been over worked and taken little time for yourself ...
Perhaps you’ve been caring for a loved one...
Perhaps you’re high risk for Covid complications and isolation has taken it’s toll...
Perhaps you lost your job ...
Perhaps you’ve been sick...
Perhaps you’ve felt lonely...
Perhaps you lost a loved one...
Perhaps you’ve been struggling to make ends meet...
Perhaps you’ve just found yourself in a slump that you can’t get out of...
Aga Kolaczkowski is our guest speaker for this expert interview episode (#6).
Aga has a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and has trained in; Complex Trauma, Art Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Psychoneuroimmunology and Hypnotherapy. She has also written and facilitated groups for women who have come out of difficult relationships and art therapy groups for seniors.
She has worked with grief and loss, trauma, relationship breakdowns and people who want to gain insight and self-awareness.
We want to acknowledge everyone for persevering with the Covid-19 situation; and therefore we've created a space to talk it out... to be heard and supported.
While Mojo Mingle strives to create a high energy service, I (Sarah) feel it’s also important to acknowledge that life isn’t perfect... it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
We all have struggles.
We all encounter speed-humps and stop signs on our journey through life...
We learn to take the good with the bad...
Now, normally we avoid dropping the C-word (Covid-19) at social gatherings, but I decided to create this online space specifically for those who have been affected by Covid-19 and would like to talk it over with someone.
Could this space be of use to you? If so, join us for this 90 minute session by booking a ticket and showing up. We're here for you.
NOTE: ticket bookings to attend close 1.5 hours before the event, unless sold out. Any recordings of content (not personal story telling) may be available to those who attended, and members of Mojo Mingle, 7-10 days after the event.
