Kate Turner | Global Head of Responsible Investment at First Sentier Investors

Kate is the Global Head of Responsible Investment at First Sentier Investors, driving the firm’s ESG strategy and shaping sustainable finance initiatives. A recognised leader in responsible investment, she leads a specialist team integrating ESG considerations into investment decisions, tackling critical issues like climate change and modern slavery. Kate holds a number of additional roles, including Chair of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia, Board Member of First Sentier Investors (Australia) IM Ltd, Chair of Investors Against Slavery and Trafficking APAC and Advisory Group member of the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative.

Simon O'ConnorDirector, Advisor at Multiple organisations

Simon is a director and advisor with over two decades operating across economics, finance and sustainability. Simon was previously the CEO of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia and currently holds multiple roles including non-executive director at Bank Australia and Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Climate Futures and Melbourne Biodiversity Institute.

Liza McDonaldHead of Responsible Investment at Aware Super

Liza has over 26 years’ experience in the superannuation sector and is a specialist and passionate advocate for Responsible Investments. As Head of Responsible Investments, she has led the development and implementation of Aware Super’s Responsible Ownership approach and sits on various working groups and committees.
