EXPERT PANEL discussion ALCOA, water, gallium?
OUR PANEL
Join us for an interesting informative evening to learn about the real issues with our water and the Gallium refining which ALCOA is using to ensure that they can continue to mine bauxite for as long as they want.
Our panelists are:

Ann has a background in medicine, law and maths. In addition to working as a GP and a lawyer. she spent a number of years working with medical researchers to develop scientific discoveries into treatments for disease. She reports on water for the Dwellingup Forest Defenders, and is currently doing a degree in groundwater hydrology in order to do it better. She likes camping, hiking and anything to do with Nature.

Key issues:
What are the threats to our drinking water?
How will the native wildlife cope with contaminated water?
Who pays to mitigate the risks for the population against contaminated drinking water?
Why is the taxpayer subsidising ALCOA to refine Gallium?
What if any of the remaining forest should be made into a National Park?
Plus lots more:
This discussion will bring to you the facts of what has been going on and the possible ramifications.
