Join us for a Coastal Adventure, a unique journey that lets you explore and discover indigenous bush tucker along the Limestone Coast, connecting you with the area's rich heritage and stunning coastal views.

Sharing the beauty of our Boandik Country with visitors brings Uncle Ken immense joy, through his tour business BUSH ADVENTURES, and his love for the Great Southern Ocean continually drives him to explore and savour its salty delights. Through his tours, Uncle Ken encourages others to take the time to appreciate the intricate wonders of nature.

ITINERARY

Meet-up at Port MacDonnell Jetty Your adventure begins at the historic Port MacDonnell Jetty. Here we will enjoy morning tea from local Tide Cafe 7& Espresso Bar, highlighting some of the native flavours of our country like lemon myrtle & wattleseed.

Heritage Walk Explore the Enchanted Forest and uncover the wonders of the Boandik campsite. Learn about ancient Blue Gums and their significance. The freshwater creek, our eels, and the birdlife. Here we will enjoy some more of Tide's homestyle cooking, with an emphasis on the local hero- crayfish. Don't worry- if shellfish isn't your thing, there will be options.

​Coastal Combing Adventure Discover aquatic treasures as you explore the coastline, from shellfish to starfish and hidden sea anemones. Share our ancient story of Ngaram’s Drowned forest before heading back to Port Mac for some free time exploring the jetty, the shops, the Port Mac Community Centre & Maritime Museum, the pub or eateries.

This tour is designed to be inclusive, ensuring that families can fully engage with the wonders of the coast.
