Event description

Join us for an in-depth exploration of legal ethics in the community legal sector!

CLCNSW is excited to host a distinguished panel of legal ethics experts from the legal and academic communities for an insightful 90-minute discussion on pressing ethical issues.

Joining us will be:

  • Claudia Robinson (Financial Rights Solicitor & Ethics Committee Member)
  • Brenda Tronson (UNSW Senior Lecturer in Law and Ethics & Barrister at Level 22 Chambers)
  • Patrick Hourigan (Mid North Coast Community Legal Centre Assistant Principal Solicitor)
  • Samantha Gulliver (NSW Legal Services Commissioner)

They will explore two case studies that highlight urgent ethical topics, including confidentiality, the role of AI in legal practice and more!

Don't miss this final training session of 2024, where you’ll gain valuable insights into the ethical challenges facing the community legal sector today.

We look forward to seeing you there!

You will be able to claim a CPD point for Ethics and Professional Responsibility after attending this panel.
