Event description

This is a rare opportunity to hear from researcher, Dr Geoff Heard about the fascinating life history of one of Victoria’s most iconic frog species; the Growling Grass Frog. Geoff will discuss his research on populations of Growling Grass Frogs around Melbourne and the threats that have led to population declines. We will then look at efforts to help recover the species and positive actions that you can take to report on the frogs you hear calling in your neighbourhood.

Finally, what does a frog friendly garden look like? Little things that you can do at home to create a safe environment for frogs.

There will be an opportunity at the end of the webinar to ask questions.
