- WorkUP Queensland is teaming up with TAFE Queensland to support the domestic and family violence, sexual violence and women’s health and wellbeing sector to consider VET pathways in employment
- Opportunities are available for Allied support staff (administration and other business-related tasks)
- Learn about upskilling options for your current frontline practitioners and or experienced practitioners transitioning into team leader or leadership roles
Using the current availability of Fee Free TAFE funding by the Queensland Government and support from WorkUP Queensland, eligible candidates can complete the following qualifications with a cohort of peers employed in the sector.
- BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
- CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services
- BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management

Tracey Vella
Tracey Vella is a business development officer and account manager in the commercial business unit for TAFE Queensland. She has 30+ years’ experience in business, finance, sales and marketing, and project management gained whilst working for multinational corporations, state governments and running her own company. Tracey has worked for TAFE Queensland in the Community Services Portfolio for over 13 years in various roles, most recently managing state-wide projects for Drug and Alcohol Services, Aged and Disability Sectors, NDIS Foundation Skills Initiative, Vocational Placement Initiative and the WorkUP Queensland Grow the Workforce Initiative.
