Export Strategy Workshop in Wine, 22 October 2025

This NSW Export Strategy workshop in Wine is to assist NSW aspirant exporters to hone a targeted and focused strategy to pursue business growth via export including to help participating businesses identify market/s to pursue as they embark on the next stage of their export journey.

This workshop is designed to assist participants in having a refined, well-articulated export strategy.

The workshop is brought to you by Investment NSW and The Export Council of Australia (ECA).

About the Facilitators: 

Sharon Foster, Senior Export Adviser, Investment NSW; she will also provide an overview of support available to take your business internationally.  

Sharon is a Senior Export Adviser and TradeStart Adviser, in the NSW Government (Investment NSW), and a member of Austrade’s National TradeStart Network, based at Ourimbah on the Central Coast (University of Newcastle).

Sharon works with potential, new and existing exporters providing them with a range of export development advice, services and resources, export programs, and connection to our offshore networks. Sharon has a diverse background and experience, including working offshore in international markets.

Chris Dennis, Senior Export Adviser, Export Development & Services, Investment NSW

With over 15 years experience in delivering regional development across Central and Western NSW, Chris is part of the Investment NSW Export Adviser team to support the Manufacturing, Agri, Food & Beverage sectors and to expand and diversify their export markets. 

Chris also supports NSW Exporters in the Central West, New England and Nth West NSW regions through the delivery of export services, programs and resources from Austrade and Investment NSW. 

About the Presenter: Stefanie Harter, National Training Manager, Export Council of Australia (ECA)

Stefanie Harter is a seasoned international business specialist with a strong track record in designing and delivering impactful training programs for Australian exporters, government agencies, and industry bodies. In her role at ECA, she leads the development of interactive and strategic training initiatives tailored to the evolving needs of the export sector.

She holds a Master of International Business from the University of Sydney, where she specialised in export strategy and risk management. Her global experience continues to shape her pragmatic, inclusive, and forward-thinking approach to international trade and business development.
