This retreat is an Expression of Interest (EOI). Places are limited and submitting an EOI does not guarantee a spot. Selected carers will be contacted with confirmation and further details.
This evening carer retreat is designed to give carers a much-needed break in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Carers will enjoy a night of connection, good food, and plenty of laughter.
The evening opens at The Paddo in a relaxed private function room, where all attendees will take part in the carer conversation with Carers Queensland’s CEO, a Board member, and a representative of the Executive Leadership Team. Followed by a 2-course dinner and the highlight of the night - a comedy show at The Sit Down Comedy Club. Headline acts include the hilarious Fiona McGary and Emma Zammit, with the evening hosted by MC, Kat Davidson. Carers can sit back, relax and enjoy an unforgettable night of laughter.
Important Information:
🚗 Parking at The Paddo is limited. Street parking is available nearby but will be an out-of-pocket expense for carers
🍽️ Dinner will be served as an alternative drop menu.
