Expression Session for Predict: Current and Future Trends in Learning Design with Dr Elyssabeth Leigh

As part of the University of Technology Sydney Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and related Predict: Current and Future Trends in Learning Design microcredential, we invite guest speakers  to share their knowledge and experiences with our students (we call these our 'Expression Sessions'). We're opening our next Expression Session to the public to meet with Dr Elyssabeth Leigh, who will be talking about designing facilitators and facilitation in support of simulations, sharing her rich history and expertise in these areas.  

About Elyssabeth

Dr Leigh began debriefing simulations and games in the 1970s learning by trial and error. Much of what is now familiar was either unknown or inaccessible. Dr Leigh designs and runs simulations for government, private enterprise and educational institutions in Australia and internationally. Her doctoral studies explored knowledge and skills needed by facilitators who manage their learning spaces "as if" they are real workplaces. She is currently writing a book about facilitation skills and knowledges.
