Expressive abstract painting workshop with Dianne Smith

Join Local Contemporary Art Prize Finalist, Dianne Smith, for a full day workshop exploring methods of working with colour and mark making techniques. This is an expressive and authentic way of working which allows participants the freedom to work abstractly. It starts with participants making a small booklet looking at, and experimenting with, different techniques. Following this, participants will be loosened up and ready to create their abstract or semi-abstract painting.

Complimentary tea/coffee & biscuits provided. Please bring your own lunch or food may be purchased from nearby cafes in Caloundra.

Please bring:

• 1 x 30cm x 40cm primed canvas (available from Spotlight or art supply stores)

• Your choice of acrylic paints and brushes

• Suitable art-making clothes

All other materials will be supplied.
