Join us for an engaging event featuring a talk by Pii Telakivi from Helsinki University and University of Turku on her recent book, "Extending the Extended Mind: From Cognition to Consciousness". Pii explores extended, embodied cognition and consciousness in her work. She connects the extended mind hypothesis to the philosophy of artificial intelligence and robotics, offering fresh insights into the intersection of cognition and technology.
Pii's presentation will be enriched by commentary from Markus Pantsar, a philosopher specialising in the philosophy of mathematics, AI, and logic. Currently a Guest Professor at RWTH University in Aachen, Germany, Markus brings deep expertise in the complexities of AI and human cognitive development.
