Hello, it's almost mid-year! 

What an superb presentation about HMAS Cairns, the greater role the Navy plays and a really great crowd for our recent May luncheon. Thanks again Commander Alfie Santos for visting and lunching with us.

Our June luncheon approaches and will take place on last Friday of this month where Dr. Sam Horseman will be presenting in a very interactive way the role of AI in Business, especially in delivering huge productivity gains and propelling business to new heights.

Sam is a globally recognised inventor, innovator and venture growth entrepreneur spanning a two-decade career at Aramco in Saudi Arabia. She is a global thought leader because of her IoT human-machine interface portfolio of 60 granted patents, 15 prototypes, 22 publications, and 25 regional & global awards.

Dr Sam Horseman is the Director of the Cairns AI Hub, on the Board of the Queensland AI Hub and heads up the JCU Ideas Lab plus founders in residence program.

Sam has previously led the Innovation Ecosystem Vertical for the Aramco Entrepreneurship Centre, launching deep-tech incubators and accelerators, and most recently deploying the Venture Growth Portfolio for 40+ startups invested by the Wa'ed venture capital fund. She was President of the MENA Institute for Health & Productivity Management (IHPM-MENA), Founder & President of the Innovation Ecosystem Society, Member of the Advisory Board for the MoH - National Vision Realization Office, and Director for the ‘Google for Startups’ Dhahran Chapter.
