STALLHOLDERS WANTED: Fabric and craft supplies de-stash market
Description
STALLHOLDERS WANTED
Do you have excess craft supplies, or an exploding fabric stash taking over your house? Do you need to downsize, but don't want to put everything into landfill/take to the opp shop? Want to see it go to people who would love it as much as you did?
This is your chance to move these items on to others who will appreciate them. Options include (but not limited to):
Fabrics
Wool/yarn
Decorative items: ribbons, buttons, badges, ric rac etc
needles, pins, darning mushrooms, threads
Paints, brushes, easels etc
Beads, strings, tiger tail, pliers etc
Any other art or craft items you can think of.
Sewing machines, overlockers, knitting machines, etc (There will be a sewing machine repair person on site who can check over machines for potential purchasers).
You can sell the items on the day, offer them to attendees for a donation to a local charity (yet to be chosen), or give items away for free (if you just want things moved on and hope to see excited recipients). You work out what works for you. We will be advertising to both charities/charity sewing groups, community sewing groups and schools to attend, as well as the general public.
Note that the intention is that your items are either sold or given away on the day. You will need to take all unsold items and rubbish with you at the end of the day.
The event will run 9-2pn, on Saturday 17 October. Bump in will be from 7.30am, and bump out from 2.15pm. You will be contacted by the Waste Education team if you are successful in your application to attend this event. There will be no stall fee BUT all stalls will need public liability insurance - either your own, or buy purchasing from City of Casey for this event, for the cost of $25.
