Price FREE Get tickets

Event description

Faces of Help Digital Stories is a collection of short, personal, impactful stories that tell the experiences of 6 storytellers reflecting on giving and receiving help when dealing with caregiving, dying, and grieving.

Funded by Primary Health Tasmania and the Department of Health, Faces of Help is a community resource any individual or group can utilise to assist with starting conversations within their community.

This session we will watch 3 of the short films, with a discussion following each.

We will also update people with the Community Storytelling Workshops and how people may be able to participate in the future.

Community Storytelling Workshops are available to any person with a life limiting diagnosis or those who are bereaved. Participants are able to learn how to write, record and edit a story important to them, whatever the topic.

A beautiful short film by Mara that demonstrates what people are able to produce as an outcome of these workshops will be shown.

Light refreshments provided. Please RSVP by 4pm Tuesday 30th July.

COST: Gold Coin Donation to Tender Funerals Tasmania if you are able, on entry.
