Facilitating Financial Safety Training (PD) | WIRE Rural Roadshow: Gippsland

Facilitating Financial Safety is a professional development workshop for people working with victim survivors of family violence in the Gippsland region. Through this session you will gain knowledge, confidence and capability to provide proactive financial support and information to victim survivors in crisis, during or immediately post-separation, through an intersectional lens.

What is covered:

• Family violence and financial abuse – starting from shared intersectional understanding

• Financial capability

• Understanding crisis payments

• Financial crisis and financial safety planning

• Legal information and legal support

• Includes intersectional case studies and lots of interactive activities
