Facilitation Skills: Achieving community outcomes through great facilitation (This is workshop 4 of 4 free workshops in the Puketāpapa Elevate your Impact workshop series)
**These sessions are open to and free to community groups, social enterprises and charities operating or based in the Puketāpapa Local Board area, due to funding support received from the Puketāpapa Local Board.**

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Move in and out of a neutral facilitation role without causing confusion
- Establish agreement with a group for their role as facilitator
- Structure and plan meetings and group events
- Establish meeting ground rules
- Intervene to manage behaviour in meetings
This practical session is for those who are interested in developing their facilitation skills so they are more effective when leading groups, workshops, meetings or discussions at work or in their community.

About the Facilitator
Damian D’Cruz has been teaching people skills and leadership skills for over 20 years. He is a senior associate with New Zealand Coaching and Mentoring. Damian’s strengths are in people skills and a creative and engaging approach to training. During his 20 + year career, he has worked for a wide range of for profit and not for profit organisations.
