    Event description

This talk invites you to reframe death—not as something to be feared, but as an essential part of life to be prepared for and embraced. Through thoughtful reflection, death can become a peaceful, dignified, and even healing experience for both the dying and their loved ones.

We will explore the concept of a compassionate community, where we break the silence around death and create a space where open discussion, mutual support, and encouragement are integral to end-of-life care. Together, we can build a culture where dying with dignity and supporting each other through loss becomes a shared responsibility, not a solitary burden.

A new and emerging profession will be introduced: the End-of-Life Doula. This compassionate role provides comfort, guidance, and emotional support throughout the dying process, helping both the individual and their family navigate this transitional journey with peace, empowerment, and grace.

Join us to discover how we can all contribute to creating a society where death is not a taboo subject, but a natural and meaningful part of life, approached with thoughtfulness and community care.
