Event description

On this tour you will see close up the damage that the mining is doing to this unique forest.

You will also see the difference between 20 year old so called rehabilitated forest and forest that is natural.

Our experienced commentators will explain what to look for to identify different aspects of the mining and the rehabilitation.

We will also be able to show you the effect of prescribed burning and you will see close up recently burnt forest, with expert commentary on the results of this program.

There will be handouts to take home to read so that you can spread the word.
