A Taste of Gemütlichkeit - A Pretzel Tour

Join us for a live production tour of Milwaukee Pretzel Company! Guests will be guided on a walking tour of our large scale bakery and warehouse to learn every twist and turn about our authentic Bavarian soft pretzels! You’ll see the pretzel process up close from start to finish - from how we make our pretzel dough, roll them into twists and where they go across the nation with the history of Milwaukee Pretzel Company sprinkled in throughout your time with us. All guests will enjoy a freshly-baked 5oz pretzel at the end of your tour - and nothing beats a freshly salted pretzel right out of the oven!

Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes with time available for questions, photos and of course some shopping for pretzels and merch to take home! All tour guests receive 30% off all day-of pretzel and dip purchases and a coupon for a 20% discount on future orders.

LARGE GROUP BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Groups of 10 or more and any special requests for tours (alternate dates/times, field trips, etc.), please contact our Tour Manager with your requested date, group size, and any relevant details at lauren@milwaukeepretzel.com.

BEFORE YOU TOUR:

Because our tour takes place inside an active food manufacturing facility, all guests must follow our food safety and facility requirements. These rules help us protect the safety and quality of our products and keep everyone safe during the tour.

• All guests must wear clean, closed-toe shoes with secure soles. Sandals, flip-flops, slippers, and open-toe shoes are not permitted in the production area.

• For food safety reasons, jewelry should be removed or covered. Please remove earrings, watches, bracelets, necklaces and any rings with stones or gems.

• All guests must wear hair coverings while in the production area. Hairnets will be provided at check-in. Guests with long hair may be asked to secure it. Hats are not permitted on the production floor and must be stored in our secured lockers or your vehicle.

• Bags, purses, backpacks, and other personal belongings are not permitted in the production area. Items will need to be stored in our secured lockers on-site or in your vehicle. Small items like wallets can be stored in pockets if space allows.

• For food safety reasons, phones and other devices must be put away or stored while in the production area. Your tour guide will let you know when it’s okay to take them out for photos or other use.

• Outside food and beverages, including gum, candy, and drinks are not permitted in the production area. Please finish or dispose of these items before your tour time.

• Guests should wear clean clothing that is suitable for a food manufacturing environment. Loose clothing or accessories that could come into contact with equipment or products may need to be secured or removed. Short-sleeved shirts and shorts are acceptable.

• Families with children ages 5 and older are welcome to join our tours. Due to the nature of our live manufacturing environment, children under 5 are not permitted.

• For everyone's safety and to comply with food safety requirements, guests who cannot meet these requirements may be unable to enter certain areas of the facility. Our tour guides and staff will provide instructions throughout the experience.
