Join us for a morning to discover the world of pollinators from bees and butterflies to birds and beyond!
Spring has sprung and to celebrate the first weekend of the season we are holding an event at Fairhill Nursery for children aged 6-12 years old together with parents. We will spend the morning in the outdoors exploring and discovering the world of pollinators, you'll learn how to attract these creatures to your garden, get up and close to some fluttering friends and learn about all the hidden helpers that keep our plants thriving.
Then we'll put our new knowledge to the test with a fun, hands-on LEGO challenge,
When: Saturday September 6th, 9am-12pm
Where: Fairhill Nursery, 114-132 Fairhill Rd, Ninderry
To bring: Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy enclosed shoes, hat, sunscreen and water.
Parking: Please park in the Nursery allocated carparking
Please note, parents must be in attendance during the workshop to supervise your child. The first 2 hours, all equipment will be provided however, we do ask that you stay and join in the fun. During the final hour the children will be busy with LEGO so you will get the opportunity to have a quiet coffee on the grounds and explore.
