Noelle began her long association with Scots through her children before joining the School as a member of the School Council and then on staff as Director of Development. Eventually she became the School’s honorary Archivist. Early In her role of Archivist, Noelle realised what a treasure trove of information the School had in its archives and eventually set about researching and writing the full history.

“From its beginning as a small parochial school in 1866, The Scots School Albury’s history is an important and integral part of the story of the found and development of the border region. Pursuing a philosophy of Education as a path to the future for over 150 years, through rural boom and recession, world wars, droughts, splendid achievements and challenging times, the current school now stands as a symbol of faith-based learning, and evidence of the school community’s determination and success.
