Faith in Peace Has a Heartbeat! Come hear great Pop, Folk, Hip-Hop and more from outstanding artists, plus Persian song and dance. This concert welcomes people of all faith traditions who value peace and respect the faith traditions of others, including nonbelievers. Learn about wonderful nonprofits building PEACE at home and abroad and help them do their work. 50% of all net ticket sales will support these great nonprofits, the other 50% help create a great concert! YOU CHOOSE YOUR PEACE CAUSE! Doors open 5:30pm so you can come learn about these GREAT nonprofits! Plus, your Humanitix ticket lets you join a meal in the Church of the Epiphany's Community Hall starting 5:30pm (Yummy Meat & Veggie Options including Mamma Lucia Italian Cuisine!). Concert starts at 7pm sharp!

• Aaron Shneyer’s roots, rock and soul driven music celebrates life and hopes to heal our divides. Aaron is the Musician-in-Residence at the historic Sixth & I Synagogue. Aaron weaves together elements of Rock n Roll, Folk, and the musics of South America and the Middle East. Aaron also leads our Fiscal Sponsor Heartbeat FM!

• Anthony "Wordsmith" Parker is a Hip-Hop artist, an Independent Music Award winner and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra partner and leader of the nonprofit Rise with a Purpose. Wordsmith previously performed with the Concert for the Human Family of the US Episcopal Church.

• Yusha Assad is a talented Muslim Hip-Hop artist with over 20 years of experience as a recording artist and performer. Yusha's music blends lyrical depth, affirmation, and lived experience.

• Hassan El-Tayyab: Hassan is the lead vocalist/guitar for American Nomad, a band "running on R&B/Soul, Folk, and Roots. Three-part horns. Warm, groove-driven rhythm. A troubadour's eye for a story. They blend blues, folk, and soul into something that feels like Bill Withers, James Taylor, and John Prine trading verses — heartfelt, high-energy, and built on a belief in peace and shared humanity."

• Sufi Melody: The Sufi Melody vision is to create an established web of love and interconnectedness through the universal language of music among diverse cultural groups in the DMV area. Sufi Melody is also selling tickets with 100% of net sales supporting their work.

• Adalia Tara: an award-winning singer-songwriter and recording artist soulful blend of pop, R&B, blues, and jazz carries a powerful message of courage, kindness, and social change. She’s graced stages from TEDx to international festivals, winning film festival awards and earning critical acclaim for her music. Her worldview and songwriting remain deeply guided by her Buddhist upbringing and philosophy.

• Anera (Featured Beneficiary Nonprofit): Since 1968, Anera has helped refugees and others hurt by conflicts in the Middle East live with dignity and purpose. Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, Lebanon and Jordan. We mobilize resources for immediate humanitarian relief and for sustainable health, education and economic development efforts. Our staff are from the communities they serve, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most. We will keep building better lives until hope finds its way in the Middle East.

• Heartbeat:  Heartbeat New Sound Foundation, the concert fiscal sponsor led by Aaron Shneyer, empowers Israeli and Palestinian youth by bringing them together to create music and transform conflict. 

• Rotary District 7620 (DC & Central MD : Rotary is an international humanitarian organization with 1.4 million members. Rotary is a non-political, non-sectarian service organization open to all faiths. Rotary International supports interfaith action through grassroots peacebuilding initiatives, community conflict-resolution work, and official affiliations like the Rotarian Action Group for Peace, which actively incorporates inter-religious dialogue and partners with interfaith organizations. Peace is a key focus area of Rotary. The Rotary District 7620 will prepare a peace project with funds raised from ticket sales.

• So What Else/KPC Buddhist Relief: So What Else is dedicated to combating food insecurity and providing children in Maryland and Washington D.C. communities access to meaningful opportunities to learn and grow outside of school. Proceeds from these tickets will support the So What Else partnership with KPC Buddhist Relief, an organization rooted in compassion and dedicated to relieving suffering in all its forms. Guided by the Buddhist principle of interdependence, KPC Buddhist Relief recognizes that the well-being of individuals, communities, and the planet are deeply connected.
