Event description

Join us to celebrate the launch of the Diurnal Raptors of Australia ID booklet! Learn about raptors, local conservation, and how you can get involved.

Event details:

Bird enthusiasts, landholders, educators, and nature lovers are invited to a special event hosted by Riverina Local Land Services in partnership with BirdLife Australia.

Celebrate the release of the Diurnal Raptors of Australia identification booklet - an essential guide to Australia’s diurnal birds of prey. The booklet helps you identify species, learn about their behaviour, and support local conservation efforts.

Learn how we are working hand-in-hand with local landholders to protect and conserve one of Australia’s lesser-known and most striking birds of prey - the elusive Black Falcon.

Special guest speakers from BirdLife Australia and LLS will share insights on raptor identification, local conservation, and ways to get involved.

Additional information: Copies of the new ID booklet will be available for those in attendance. Lunch will be provided on the day. Please list any dietary requirements when you register.
