Fall 2024 Illuman of Texas Returning Initiated Men (RIM) Program

If you’ve ever wanted to return to an MROP / Umbrales, here is your chance.  The RIM (Returning Initiated Men) is a unique program to include men already initiated into the MROP. 

This program is not a repetition of your MROP / Umbrales initiation, because you cannot be initiated twice. This two day program is designed to give an initiated man the opportunity to deepen continue his journey while supporting the initiation of other men. As an elder on these rites, you will engage the men seeking initiation and help them step into what awaits them.​

ABOUT THE INITIATOR PROGRAM
Initiated men continue to ask how they can participate in and support the initiation process. By design, the Men’s Rites of Passage is run by a small team of 10-12 men. This helps keep the edges hot, but limits the number of elders that can participate.

By offering this program, we hope to provide an opportunity for more initiated men to return to the Men’s Rites of Passage to engage in further personal soul-work and form a prayerful support container for the men who are being initiated.

The RIM program will start on Saturday, October 19 and conclude at the MROP closing ritual on Sunday, October 20.  The time will include ritual, teaching prayer, and an opportunity to hold sacred space for the initiates. You are invited to be there and prayerfully support the initiation of a new group of men. 

 Thankfully, COVID is not what it once was.  We have men traveling from across the country and internationally.  We may have men attending who are at greater risk of severe complications should they become ill. It is with this in mind that we ask that everyone be considerate of the health of each other by taking an at-home COVID test before arrival on the property, and bring one extra test with you to take before you go home.
