Fall 2024 North Tahoe Area College Admissions Case Study

Have you ever wanted to know what the college application process looks like once the submit button is pushed? The 6th North Tahoe Area College Admissions Case Study puts you (parents and high school students) onto the admissions panel. College representatives will lead small groups through a tough review process of mock applications to determine who gets in, who gets waitlisted, and who gets the denial envelope. It is an eye-opening and tough process. You will learn a lot!

This is a space-limited event, and pre-registration is required. This is open to students at North Tahoe HS, Truckee HS, Coldstream/Sierra HS, Sugar Bowl Academy, Tahoe Expedition Academy, and Incline High School. Students in grades K-8 should register once they are in their respective high schools. Please register each participant with their own name and ticket. Ticket allotments based on school size are set. Depending on registration numbers, we may release additional tickets as we approach the event. If tickets are sold out - please join the waitlist. If tickets are released, you will receive an email notice requesting that you claim your ticket(s).

Unfortunately - Spanish translation will not be available at this year's event. Desafortunadamente, la traducción al español no estará disponible en el evento de este año.

(Please note that this is not a college fair. Participants will be randomly assigned to their case study group of which a college representative will lead. You will not be choosing your group based on school preference. No exceptions.)
