Come join us at Arise Counseling & Healing Arts for a special equinox event!
We will be honoring the advent of autumn with a guided experience that echoes the seasonal transition from light to darkness. Join us for an exploration of the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna, an archetype of transformation and storykeeper of the Heroine's Journey.

Together we will be taken on a guided visualization, journeying courageously into the dark and emerging back into light transformed, more in touch with ourselves and with the gifts that reside in the depths for those brave enough to face them.

This initiation is for anyone who seeks sisterhood or community, craves depth, or longs to connect with seasonal cycles, feminine archetype, the unique pain and path of the heroine's journey, or her own inner self more deeply. This is an opportunity to go deep within yourself, with the healing support of a container of like-minded women, to release the things getting in the way of your own emergence into a more authentic, empowered you.

What to bring

Yourself, as you are. A willingness to reflect and be curious. An open mind. Beyond that? Whatever you like. A special item to charge at our altar. Layers, if you get hot or cold. If you have a journal that is special to you, please feel free to bring it. If you don’t have one, we’ve got you covered.

What Not to bring

Pets, bad juju, or your germs if you are sick. As we are in a small space and sharing the same air, please be kind and keep your known communicable illness germs at home. Trained and certified service animals are welcome.

What to wear

If you want to dress for the occasion, you might consider wearing black or dark colors. Alternatively, you could channel your inner queen and dress in regal splendor like Inanna herself. The most important thing though is your comfort. You may prefer to come in comfortable clothes that allow freedom of movement. Layers are always a solid choice.
