Fall Themed Wood Wick Candle Making Workshop

Learn How to Make Your Own Beautiful and Scented Fall Candles!
In this fun and creative class, you will learn how to make your own beautiful and scented fall candles using soy wax and wood wicks. You'll have the opportunity to choose your own fragrance oils so you can create candles that are uniquely yours.
Our experienced instructor will teach you the basics of candle making, including how to:
- Melt and pour soy wax
- Add fragrance oils
- Insert wood wicks
You'll also have the opportunity to experiment with different techniques, so you can find the perfect way to make your candles.
By the end of the class, you will have:
- Made your own beautiful and scented fall candles
- Gained the confidence to make candles at home
- This class is perfect for anyone who loves fall or who wants to learn a new hobby.
Each participant makes 2 scented wood wick candles.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS
This class is available to take either:
- In Person at our Shop at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042
- Online Virtually on Zoom.
IN PERSON CLASS
In Person Class session takes place at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class.
VIRTUAL CLASS
Virtual Classes take place online using Zoom. Participants will receive a Zoom link and a DIY Kit.
Virtual Class participants are required to register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve materials for shipping or local curbside pick up.
DIY Kit includes:
- Soy wax
- Wood wicks & tabs
- Vessels with lids
- Fragrance Oils
Participants Will Need:
- Access to a microwave or double boiler
- Microwave/Heat safe measuring cups
- A kitchen scale
- A kitchen thermometer
APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION
This class is appropriate for Adults, Teens, and Children to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.
CLASS PARTICIPATION
This is a Live event. Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.
CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING
Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
If the Participant booked a Virtual Class with a DIY Kit they are eligible for a reschedule only.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
If you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits. If a participant chooses to get a DIY Kit it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their country can receive packages from the US.
