Australians are becoming more urbanised, and Tasmania’s regional towns and cities are at a crossroads. Aside from a bump over COVID, our trend of ‘graduating’ to bigger places is continuing. Do people still love regional villages, towns and cities? Join Huon Valley locals and built environment experts Steven Burgess and Connie Steers to explore what we are doing right and what we can do better as a community.

Who should attend?

  • Regional residents and community champions

  • Urban planners, designers, and placemakers

  • Local government and policy makers

  • Anyone passionate about the future of regional Tasmania

Speakers

If your city, town or village is not everything you want it to be – it might be time to find out why…
