Falling into Winter: Sacred Sweat Lodge for Looking Within & Giving Thanks

Join me at Earthwalk Ways for our final Lodge of 2025! What a doozy of a year. Bring your lives, your prayers, your concerns and your joys to our Falling into Winter Lodge.

As usual people are welcome to come Saturday and help prepare. We also hope to do a Forest Bathing Gathering and Fire Circle Saturday, so you can make a weekend out of it. Stay over is available.

Weather can be an issue, so I will update as we get closer to time.

This ceremony is a deeply nature bonding experience so we can return to the cycles of life in understanding and acceptance and learn from them. Life is a journey and is our guide. All that we encounter is meaningful for the soul. Nature is a teacher as she is our elder and she has much to say if we can learn to listen.

Basic Preparation Instructions

You will need to dress for the weather and being in the woods around our sacred fire in the morning

You will need a change of cloths for being in the lodge. Cotton sweat suits are good this time of year. Women are invited to wear skirts. These cloths will be wet after the lodge so you will change back or bring another set of cloths. After the lodge we hold a pot luck. I supply a bean soup and welcome other food for the pot luck and it is good to have some healthy finger food at the lodge. Bring a couple of towels, one to sit on in the lodge and one to dry off with so you can change.

Directions. When you come to the mailbox 913, pull past the first house on the drive. There is parking at the fork and at the house. Some overflow at the campground.

I will send out a follow up to those registered as it gets closer to time and I have a firm idea of the weather and attendance.

These lodges are not traditional lodges but are held with the guidance of Mother Earth and based on the Universal Medicine Wheel. Darlene is an elder in this path of Universal Shamanism.
