A Familiar Problem is a rules-light, imagination-forward one-page tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) in which players embody lovable and loyal animal familiars. While these small, magical creatures are often conjured by spellcasters to help them in times of need, they also often find themselves accidentally neglected in-between moments of service. Inspired by the woes of Jester’s familiar, Sprinkle, an adored if usually-forgotten familiar of Critical Role’s campaign two, this single session game, also known as a "one shot," has you setting off on a mission to prove your worth as a furry companion by attempting to save the day! There are six player spots available for adults ages 16 and older, and we love to play with people of all experience levels, even if you're brand new to TTRPGs! You can sign-up on your own and get to meet new people or buy a few tickets and come with your friends. We will provide everything you need to play, from dice to character sheets, and explain all of the rules as we go. 

At Worlds 4 All, we strive to make every gaming table a safer and more inclusive space for all players. We use a variety of safety tools, including a Session Zero form and x-cards, to set clear boundaries, preview game themes, and accommodate accessibility needs. 

Side Quest Books & Games is located in Bow Market, Union Square, Somerville, MA. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for this private event, and you are encouraged to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while we play!
