Arafmi has an extensive history working alongside mental health carers and families. With over 40 years of knowledge and experience, they are uniquely placed to support you in your role as a carer, or family member, of a person with mental health support needs.

Arafmi’s wide range of services and programs are designed to support mental health carers in a way that best suits you and your family’s needs. Whether you need help navigating the NDIS, looking for support services for yourself or a loved one or simply need someone you can talk to who understands, they’re here for you.

    headspace Capalaba

The staff at headspace Capalaba can assist young people with a wide range of mental health, general health, drug, alcohol, and work and study issues, by their choice of face-to-face or telehealth appointments.

headspace Capalaba understands that when a young person in your life is experiencing difficulties it can be very challenging to know how to find the right help. Because of this, headspace Capalaba is a no wrong door service which will ensure you will find the support right for your young person.

    Carer Gateway

Carer Gateway connect people, strengthen families, and transform communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing. They offer tailored services designed to support people affected by mental health issues or disability, as well as their families, friends, and carers.

They have more than 40 years’ experience working with individuals, families, carers, and the community to identify their needs and goals and attain a great life in their community. They were founded by families advocating to improve the services, information and support available to people with mental health issues and their carers. Making sure lived experience is at the heart of all they do remains key. Together, they create an environment that focuses on hope rather than illness.
