Family Art Day | Tennant Creek Brio: Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis
Event description
Join ACCA Education for a free art-making program in the gallery for children and their families, inspired by our current exhibition Tennant Creek Brio: Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis – the first major survey of Tennant Creek Brio, an artist collective living and working on Warumungu Country which fuses together First Nations cultural traditions, the industrial materiality of the mining industry, and regional and global art influences.
Participants will create their own individual artworks and contribute to a hands-on collaborative artwork inspired by the exhibition.
Ages 3–10 years. All children are to be accompanied by an adult or carer.
Free drop-in workshop, registration recommend.
Access:
ACCA is fully wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair accessible bathroom, and a wheelchair available for use in the gallery on request at the front desk. Assistance dogs are welcome at ACCA.
