For adults and seniors

Ian Simon is a retired geoscientist and teacher who has been researching his English and German ancestry for many years and assisting others with their research at FHWA. Participants of this talk will be taken through an amazing journey of a case study involving name changes, immigration, intrigue and interactions with the law, that made research less straightforward than one might think. Prepare to leave Ian's talk with an improved understanding of family history research techniques and sources.
