First Aid for Kids in the ECO GARDEN

First Aid for Kids course with Karben Training Solutions

Learn life saving skills whilst having fun! 
Join us for a practical fun-filled session games, hands on practice and role plays!

This course is aimed for primary school-aged children. 

A parent/guardian must remain on site – tea, coffee and optional gardening tools will be provided if you would like to help in the garden during the workshop.

The KTS First Aid for Kids program is a tailored program for school age students ranging from 5-13 years of age.
The program is specifically designed to help children learn age-appropriate first aid knowledge to help them know
how to respond to an emergency.

Topics:

recognise an emergency situation

call 000

apply the DRSABCD method

provide basic care to a casualty

bandages, abrasions, snake bite

bites & stings

allergic reactions eg to insects, plants 

This course could help save the life of a loved one, friend or neighbour and is generously subsidised by Kariong Progress Association and Kariong Eco Garden.
