First Aid for Kids in the ECO GARDEN

First Aid for Kids course with Central Coast First Aid.
Participants receive Certificate of Attendance.

Learn life saving skills whilst having fun! 
Join us for a practical fun-filled session games, hands on practice and role plays!

This course is aimed for primary school-aged children. 

A parent/guardian must remain on site – tea, coffee and optional gardening tools will be provided if you would like to help in the garden during the workshop.

The First Aid for Kids workshop is tailored for school age students ranging from 5-13 years of age.
The program is specifically designed to help children learn age-appropriate first aid knowledge to help them know how to respond to an emergency.

Topics:

recognise an emergency situation

call 000

apply the DRSABCD method

provide basic care to a casualty

bandages, abrasions, snake bite

bites & stings

allergic reactions eg to insects, plants 

This course could help save the life of a loved one, friend or neighbour and is generously subsidised by Kariong Progress Association and Kariong Eco Garden.
