Event description

Join us for an extra fun Family Fun Run in Hazelbrook, Blue Mountains! We are raising funds for Bub Hub Blue Mountains Inc, delivering local community-led solutions to childcare stress.

Our family fun run, yoga, games and activities are hosted by a range of local organisations: Health Tree Fit-Nest, Shine Shaki, Rollercrew and more.

Tickets are $15 adult, $10 child, and $5 for each additional child in your household.

Can't make it but want to support us? You can buy a Pay It Forward ticket for $20, which enables one adult and one child from a lower income family to participate in our family fun run.

You can also enter our Baseball Hat Raffle ($5 for 5 entries- tickets via Humanitix). Prizes to be announced soon! The winning tickets will be drawn and announced at the fun run!

Bub Hub Blue Mountains Inc is a non-profit organisation providing alternative and flexible childcare solutions in the Blue Mountains. Since 2022, we have been delivering a co-working with onsite childcare service, which is made possible through local partnerships with other childcare and community services and though donations from local businesses, charities and non-profit organisations. This is a grassroots initiative and we are committed to creating a service and space of connection, community and care.

In Australia, the childcare system is undervalued and under stress, a situation that has been exacerbated by the post-pandemic recovery period. The pandemic also showed that alternative work-family arrangements are possible. Many advocates are now campaigning for new ways of working that centre the needs of families especially primary carers, and their children. We are part of this change.
